Breakbone Fever

Dengue Fever, also known as breakbone fever, is transmitted to humans by the Aedes aegypti or more rarely the Aedes albopictus mosquito, which feed during the day.

9 january was the start. It came as swift as a sense of fatigue came over me during afternoon. I was feeling exhausted in lectures and could not pay attention. During chingay practice, fever begins to creep upon my body and i could feel muscle aches around my body. Time was not wasted. The virus quickly hit me with a fever at night of 39.1 degrees.

10 january. My fever is still on. My stomach starts to feel gastritis. I couldn't eat well. The only possible thing I could do was to lie like a corpse in bed. and so it came. I went to see a doctor and was prescribed with some panadol.

11 january. Fever keep coming back and I slept almost 24 hours. Breakbone fever. maybe my bones was aching. I was just feeling like shit. SHIT. a good way to describe when u see me that time. Lying there in an awkward position. I went back to the doctor and was given vitamin Cs only.

12 january. I couldn't bring myself to get up. but in the evening I tried to go out with Yvonne Michelle and my brother to a Hongkong Cafe at Vivo. Trying to feel better but to no avail.

13 january. a bad nubmer for a bad day. I went to the doctor again. This time is the third time and the doctor feared. So I was given blood test. The results ddid not surface until late evening about 8pm. I was diagnosed with low platelets count and had to go back to the clinic the next morning.

14 january. I went back with the aid of my beloved cousin renhui. She came early in the morning and I was admitted to SGH A&E department. When I was there with both my cousin and auntie, first thing they did to me is install a plastic tube onto my hand for further dripping even before I was confirmed down with being warded. the -_- thing the doctor did was to draw my blood from that plastic tube. the tube was my best friend for the next few days in hospital.

3 more tubes of blood was drawn from me by a not so experienced nurse. She injected me thrice and move the needle which it was embedded in my veins. for those who feel the agony of the needle moving while inside ur flesh, u know how i felt.

15 january. 6am i was awaken by the nurse.
"Mr Goh... I going to take your blood now". All i could do is to let the nurse take my blood. Sleepy and weak~ There's nothing much i could resist a blood test. haha. Time in hospital really boring. When there's visitors, its a freaking good thing because there is someone to talk to. If not, patient like us, we sleep like we wanted the time in the hospital to pass as quickly so we could get the hell out of it.

16 january onwards

17 January. I had the tube taken off the day before. was so glad that bag of water was off me. It really hydrate me like soaking me in water. because I kept going to toilet. That day my platelets count went up to 119. I was able to be discharged. so happy.

18 january til date. Life became miserable for me. I was still weak. and My studies work load came pouring over me like shit. I tried to walk out of it. but i slipped off the shit. I feel like shit. I never felt like this before. I went to JDC dance practice. I could not concentrate. I feel retarded in learning the steps.

I felt like a loser kid. everything came down for me. I just feel so low. I never felt so low in my life. Its kinda like everything was dead for me. Sometimes things are just shit. I am glad I had someone to talk to when I was feeling so so down. :)

ok...so things are getting better for me now. I still could not dance or exercise. But at least i got over my mental illness of the SHIT. new year's over for these two days too. haha. see you guys around!

So on thursday... met up with my poly friends..... marcus.... nich....david.... baohui... we went to AstoN~.... lol...kinda tired of Aston le...hahhahahahahaha.....

next day got work at HIVE BackpackerS Hostel.... nice place.... hahha worked from 6pm to 9am.... on jobtraining.... ahhahaha...... check out the webby!.... hahhaha... its a cosy place... if any friends coming to backpack in singapore.. intro them here!!!...hahaha...

next day.... next day... o ya... nearly forgot...hahhahahaha.... woke up and worked... then yvonne call me and she found a husky!!... oman... my favourite dog....lol.... but so sad.... his name is snowball...hahaha..had to return him.... kept him for a few mins...hahhaaha..thats enough.... =)... strong dog... keep pulling and pulling....

Cottage WAffle!!!

So we came to the waffle place... a hidden shop in suntec city Cottage Waffles....and the first thing we go there... is to look for more christmas presents at the fireplace...... and saw the red sofa... that was located all the way inside....so coooosy....

I din know there is such a nice place hidden at suntec....hahahahaha....Waffles are priced at $2.50 each, which is rather affordable considering the location and well thought of décor that the outlet offers. The quaint café is a considerable option to chill out if you’re planning on spending some time on purely rest and relaxation.


It wouldn't hurt much to get a set of the chocolate fondue.... at $18.90...and u get five flavour of ice cream and 1 waffle with fruits and marsh mellow addition to that is two ice tea!... the chocolate is Freeflow...so feel free to indulge and swim in the chocolate fondue before asking for more!!!.....


Just before the wonderful dessert... the nice red sofa and cosy corner....ahahaha.... write notes on the wall if you feel like....if not....jsut write on the wall!!! ops...hahhahahahahaha

Domo hanging everywhere....

The first one definitely dun really care about the christmas tree...and focus to near to us.... and his hand was shivering while taking the photo...haha...

the second one tot that the most important part of a christmas tree is the top.... and the bottom is rubbish....so...we ended up covering the christmas tree....

the third guy... wants to take the tree and wants to take us.... but...have no idea about we are actually taking with the tree or taking with the green thing.... -_-...we are situated sooooo far from the tree.....

Domo orignally lives on a mountain.... this mountain located at National Geographic at Vivocity.....but one day....

Went over to my JC NYODAC gathering at pauline's house....hahahah..cooked fried rice because its kinda a potluck...and we got one BIG pot of cURRY....and spagetti .... and sushi... and many more food around....hahahaha... caouldn't finish though...lol.

Met Lance in school for breakdance...hahaha Jane joined after a while... and played bball and then went to meet my cousin for supper at Hk cafe...hahhahhaha..... had a long talk....

Mon...

woke up early in the morning...awaken by the sweet voice of my mom.... and the aroma of the coffee embrace me and the surrounding air..... i sat upon the cushioned chair beside my mom as she started telling me some life issues.... some principles of life...and as she speak solemnly... i realised she is looking out to the window..... and i could see tears watering in her eyes......

it starts to tingle my heart..... "Rusty...she is lonely, or rather she is feeling lonely.."

it was her off day.... monday... i could have understood her emotion as i have been running out in school dancing and not comnig home for dinner..... my younger brother is away in army... my elder bro got a chalet that day.... i have indeed neglected my family.....

so i decided not to go to school for breakdance.... not to got chingay so early.... not to meet anyone else in the morning and afternoon....just stayed at home with my mom..... whats sweeter when u have ur son be by ur side.... when u are at home....she said she always dream of me as a baby boy... and never dream of us been so big.....thats probably what they say... a mother always see her children as children even they are old.....

that day... i sang karaoke with her.... help her with the laundry.... tidy up my wardrobe....hug her..... accompanied her to bugis to meet my daddy.... had a bit of food before i left for chingay... and that kiss on her cheek was probably one my mom never had from me since a very long time.....

And so... 26 December.... I spent it at connie's House party... was her birthday celebration actually too....hahhahahahahaha..... the guys keep drinking...and we got tipsy....jane...din drink..but she got drunk cos the two of us keep drinking.... ahahahaha....

Xmas Eve!!

Tues went blading with Connie, Jane and her friend lance 2. Lance 1 came late...ahahhhhaha... so we ate at Aston....lol..... long time din blade....

Christmas Eve was out with Connie and Jane..hahahaha.... i went to shop for present....hahaahahaha.... first time i really really shop for a present...went do dhoby and raffles city then fareast the whole day... before i went home for dinner....

I made a wish to mr Santa Tree.....that my christmas won't be lonely......and tat very night.... a miracle happen... and i wasn't lonely..........

Friday went out watch Bolt with Yvonne...ahahaha...finally... my favourite guy... RHINO...damn funny...hahahaha..he's a bit retarded though...but still cool....hahaha.... and after that....we came across this weird looking stand with a weird looking guy with some weird looking balls....so with our weird looks we took weird-looking marker and draw on the weird balls..... GUess what we drew... Weird Stuff...hahahaha...filled the whole ball with our drawings...hahahaha...

We moved on to our Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie ...advertise a bit.... its located at RAffles City Shopping Centre.... Basement 1... and they sell really classic chocolate.... with lovely boxes u could get a gift for ur friend this christmas!!.... and more worth it is its chocolate dessert.... ahahaha.... if u have been doing many bad things.. try chocolate here... its heavenly and it'll bring u into heaven....hahaha...

My Beyond Your STyle Crew...hahaha.. guess what... we passed the audition!!!... oH man...I really din expect to pass it...was so surprised that we got through it....this Saturday is the Finals... competition held at Toapayoh West CC 5pm....hahahaha... be free to go down to catch me!!...haha...

Yesterday went to NBS Bash...hahaha....so happening...... the fourth time since I go Clubbing... 1st MOS, 2nd Zouk, 3rd Taiwan Club, 4th Butterfactory...haha... freeflow drink yesterday.... for a short period of time...ahaha.but had a few drinks.....then went to have supper at SPize..

Nowadays have been practising for Beyond Your sTyle Competition... been really tiring for me ....keep going down to school to practise... and have to think of choro and steps.... also the music.... its not easy....but its FUN..hahaha... an experience for us.... dunno whether stil joining Impressario...hahaha... JDC Breakdance also coming up...and MJ and Chingay practices started.... had some problem with hall 1 studio thingy which i was soooooo innocent and caught unaware....but..nvm.... Anyway... we had ours with chocolate and horlick icecream with Kinder Bueno (Kinder Bueno is a chocolate bar from Ferrero. It is a hazelnut cream filled wafer with a chocolate covering. Aston again!!... haha... this is probably the many times I have been here... usually I take black pepper steak... but this time round.. HAHAHA .... i tried the tenderlion strip... and I wondered what is different between medium and medium-rare ....it seems like my medium steak is more bloody than Yvonne's medium rare steak....-_-!!!.... dun care...haha...still ended up in my stomach.... anyway... its great...hahah.. goes with either mushroom sauce or black pepper sauce...haha..
